I am the Prepress Supervisor I like working around the house, cooking and BBQing, having people over and watching movies (as long as it’s not football season of course). What is an interesting fact about yourself? I have the patience of Job. What did you want to be growing up? At one time I thought about being a professional Chef Where would you like to travel to? Vietnam. Favorite TV show? 'Game of Thrones' and 'Meet Joe Black' (IKR) Favorite food and most disliked food? Favorite food is all things Asian and I hate canned spinach and raw onion Why you love what you do at Valley Offset Printing? Working at VOP is more like working with family than just working with a bunch of people that don’t care. Fred and Travis have always made it feel that way. Something unique about you that few people are aware of? I almost always know when someone is not telling the truth, and I can sing in Vietnamese.   The tradition of honoring mothers has been around for centuries and is celebrated different ways around the world. In America the modern Mother’s Day was first established by Anna Jarvis in 1908. Though it became an official holiday in 1914, she later came to regret it due to over-commercialization, and actively worked to get it removed from the calendar. Maybe she was right; last year, Americans spent more than $21,000,000,000 for Mother’s Day, spending an average of $172 per person.In Thailand, Mother’s Day is celebrated on the birthday of Queen Sirikit, August 12. On 'Materice' in Serbia, mothers are playfully tied up by their children, and have to give them treats to get free. In France, the day is known as ‘Fete Des Meres’, and a similar holiday was suggested in the early 19th century by Napoleon. In Mexico ‘Dia De las Madres’ is on May 10th. However you celebrate the day, remember to tell your mom how much she means to you.
